This one is for the Champions of Masturbating.

During the height of my porn use, I was a champion at masturbating. Seriously, if there was a competition, I would defeat all rivals and surpass any competitors.

I was good.

I mean 8 – 12 times a day good.

Every day. For years. I believe the medical term for that is “chronic masturbation”. With or without pornography, I could get off.

When I was a teen and in my early twenties, it was so much easier to manage, but as my porn use became a full blown problem, I began to experience the side effects of chronic masturbation. From erectile dysfunction to depression and random mood swings to penile shrinkage (Yes, players. My penis shrank-albeit temporarily. I’ll write about that some day.)

One of the happiest weeks of my life was the week I refrained from masturbation for 7 whole days.

SEVEN days!!

I was so excited! The is was the longest I had go without masturbation in years. Anything seemed possible. Maybe I could have regular erections again, maybe I could finally become a “ real man” who was disciplined and had full control of his sexual urges.

I went to bed that night feeling hopeful, secure and proud of myself.

I woke up the next morning with my first morning boner in a very long time. It was glorious.

Guess what this genius did next?

Yes- you guessed it. I masturbated.

I promptly relapsed and masturbated not once, but EIGHT times that day, and the familiar feelings of shame, and loss of confidence were back in full force

I know some of you can relate. I get emails from guys who have tried everything and ask me what I did differently.

When I realized I had a serious problem with porn and masturbation, there were virtually no helpful resources for me. There were the religious based models, which quite honestly cause more harm than good, a couple of guys talking about it on obscure forums and a few therapists whom I could not afford.

I overcame my chronic masturbation and porn habit with the help of a few tools and methods.

I have been working closely with therapists, coaches and recovering porn addicts of various ages and demographics to put together a system of treatment that WORKS using the tools and systems that worked for me and many other porn users and “masturbating champions”.

A system that works is good- a system that follows up is great. You’re not going to be left hanging three months after completing it.

While it may seem as a simple enough exercise- the key is to actually do it. Having a thorough understanding of your habit or addiction is a key step in quitting porn.
The reason why many men struggling with porn keep relapsing is that they think mere willpower will get them through. It most likely won’t.
Follow a system that works and you will succeed.
