Maybe He Watches Porn Because You Got Fat

Everyday, I read stories of women in relationships who are absolutely heartbroken because they found out their husband or boyfriend was viewing pornography. They wonder whether its because he’s no longer attracted to them or if its a result of him just wanting more variety. Some blame themselves and some blame their man, but I seldom hear women admit to the fact that they let themselves go.

I’ve spoken to many guys who tell me honestly that the reason they watch porn is because their woman quit making an attempt to look good for them. This is usually followed by the fact that she put on a lot of weight. Some women will go through all kinds of emotional rollercoasters when their partner is caught with pornography, but wont take a moment to get off the “quit porn” forums and look at herself in the mirror. Did you put on 30 pounds after your marriage? When you met your man, how did you look?

“But I put on weight after I had kids. Try having a few kids. ” Sorry, that one doesn’t fly. Usually, its just an excuse to put on more weight than is necessary to carry a pregnancy. Adding 40lbs to your frame during pregnancy is not a requirement, in fact these days, its usually the first step towards ruining your relationship or marriage. If your spouse was into big girls, he’d be dating one. Most men want to have sex with someone they find physically attractive , and if you no longer look like his version of an attractive woman, hes probably not going to tell you. Its tough for men in relationships to straight up tell their wife of girlfriend that shes fat and no sexually appealing anymore. Firstly, there’s no way to do it politely and secondly, he doesn’t want to get emotionally blackmailed or judged for not “loving you for who you are”. So he throws a few hints your way, doesn’t make any progress and keeps watching porn. Whats even worse is that his watching porn compounds the problem and makes you look significantly more unattractive.

Its a well known fact that most porn users are overwhelmingly male. Stats show that 56 percent of divorce cases involve one spouse addicted to porn, that 72 percent of all pornography website visitors are men and most disturbingly, porn use increased marriage infidelity rate by over 300 percent. Wow. That’s just a few of the hundreds of statistics out there. Yes, we can attack porn head on by increasing awareness of its addictive nature and negative impact on our society, but some women could also start by taking a good long look at themselves and ask themselves the question :”Did I quit being attractive?”

Understand that if he is already addicted to porn, losing weight and taking better care of yourself will not be enough to make him quit. However, if he does quit, having an attractive mate around will contribute greatly to his abstinence. You’ll also kill two birds with one stone; you’ll feel better and about yourself by not being overweight, live a healthier life and most importantly,if he refuse to quit you will be able to bail out of your relationship confidently knowing that you’re hot enough to get a new man. Just don’t repeat the same mistake.

  • This is a remarkable article by the way. I am going to go ahead and save this article for my sister to check out later on tomorrow. Keep up the superior work.

Men want sex. Women want control. That’s all it really is at its core. The rest is all smoke and mirrors, fairy tale princess and knight in shining armor coffee-house crap.
